Each SOUV has a built-in NFC chip and QR code. Tap it with your phone or scan the code — no app download needed, everything opens directly in your browser. From there, you claim your SOUV, build your personal memory space, and come back to it whenever you want.

Your SOUV starts empty. The first tap walks you through a simple activation: sign in with Google or Apple, choose whether you're keeping it for yourself or setting it up as a gift, add your first photos or a personal note, and claim it as yours. Once activated, your personal digital memory page is live — yours to edit, add to, and revisit anytime. You'll also get access to a timeline view, a recap video feature, and curated destination content including local tips and fun facts about where you are.

SOUV Eco can store up to 35 images and 3 videos, while SOUV Premium can store up to 50 images and 3 videos. The maximum file size is 100 MB per file. Storage is included in the purchase price, with no extra subscription costs. Your memories are stored for at least 15 years, with the goal of supporting them for the lifetime of the product.

No. SOUV works entirely in your phone's browser. Tap or scan, and you're in. We deliberately built it this way - the fewer steps between you and your memories, the better.

Yes. NFC works with all modern iPhones (iPhone 7 and later) and virtually all Android phones. If your phone doesn't support NFC, the QR code on every SOUV works as a fallback. As long as you have a smartphone and a camera, you're covered.

Your memories are safe either way. They're not stored on your phone - they live in your SOUV's memory space, accessible from any device. If you lose the physical SOUV, you can still access all your memories through your personal collection page once you log in. Everything stays intact.

Yes, fully. Every SOUV is encrypted and private by default. Only you can access your memory space, and nothing is visible to anyone else unless you actively choose to share it. Your memories are yours - we don't display them, index them, or share them with anyone.

Yes - and the gifting experience is one of the most personal things you can do with a SOUV. You travel somewhere, build your journey, add the photos, videos, and moments you want to share - and then gift it. The recipient doesn't just get a souvenir from a place they've never been.
